Rashi / Zodiac sign Mixed media Layout

Hello friends,

After a long time, i am here with a New project with the Rashi/Zodiac sign theme Mixed media layout. There are 12 zodiac signs in total. From all that signs, I am a Capricorn.Each sign boasts an individual approach to life, complete with its strengths and weakness. No sign is perfect on its own, the diversity of the zodiac completes the astrological wheel.

Material used:

*Cardboard

* Black gesso from Monte marte

*Embossing paste from itsy bitsy

* Golden mirror sheet

* Chipboard from itsy bitsy

Mixed Media art- Rustic effect

Hi all ,

I am back again with my one more mixed media project. I have worked on a circular Cardborad.

1. Cover the complete surface with White gesso 

2. Using Modelling /texture paste and stencil give some effect. let it dry

3. I have used little birdie alcohol splash -Frosted pool . Let the surface dry completely.

4. Allign all the elements the way you want it to be.

5. After all elements are glued cover it with White gesso.

6. Once its dried, spary the same alcohol splash and then i have used Brown Acrylic paint to give brownish effect (you can use similar color splash, if you have).

7. Using Little birdie's Tinted Metallic color  and  Fabrica gold powder paint give some rustic effect. 

8. Add some sentiments of your choice and here you are done.!!

Tiny Mixed media art - DREAM

Hello Everyone,

Today i got my earphone case from my cupboard which i was about to throw since the zip was not working and it was of no use. But then i realized that i can re-use and create something with it and can give it a life. May be a tiny Mixed Media. So here's what i made:

I first took one side of the earphone case and then added mini bottles (which used to hold my medicines before :p ) ,some tiny flower beads and a big Flower button, butterfly wing which i made using POP and mold long back and since it broke while removing from the mold i never used it. Taught to use it for this project and lastly added a  pistachio shell. 

After everything was glued well i covered it with Black Gesso form Monte Marte and allowed it to dry.

Later gave some Brush strokes with white gesso.

Finally added a stone in the middle of the big flower and a stamped sentiment 'DREAM'
